Haselwurm Produzioni is a production company based in Turin. We believe in cinema as a means of research, experimentation, and expressive freedom. We create short films and feature films mainly in the Drama/Horror/Fantasy genres, drawing inspiration from authors like H.P. Lovecraft, H. Machen, and R.W. Chambers, among others. We also pay close attention to the new and promising Italian literary landscape.

The name comes from the 2011 short film of the same name, from which the production company was born. The Haselwurm is a mythical creature with extraordinary powers. The legend, widespread throughout Italy, says that by eating the creature’s flesh, one can communicate with nature and animals, find hidden treasures, and visit other worlds. The scales that make up the serpent’s great body inspired our logo—a seal that we hope will accompany us on our journey for a long time.
